A Fiery Reset
On March 29th, we experience a powerful New Moon partial solar eclipse in Aries, marking a cosmic turning point of radical endings and fiery new beginnings. This is also the second closest moon of the year, amplifying its gravitational pull on our tides—both external and internal. With an Aries New Moon igniting the skies and a heavy planetary presence in both Aries and Pisces, this moment pulses with intense transformation—a cycle closing just as another forcefully emerges.
At the heart of this eclipse is the North Node in Pisces, urging us to surrender, dissolve, and place our trust in something bigger than ourselves. Pisces energy also pierces the veil of illusion with the sword of reality, revealing truths we may not be ready to see—but must. Expect "we can't unsee that" moments—the kind that demand our attention and shake us awake
In an era of mass disinformation, this kind of revelation is both necessary and inevitable. We cannot change what we refuse to acknowledge—and this eclipse sets the stage for a reckoning: a new beginning built either on reality or illusion. The truth may be difficult to face, but clarity is the foundation for all that comes next.
The Metamorphosis: Destruction Before Rebirth
Amidst this dissolution, Aries energy burns with raw initiation, momentum, and fearless action—but beginnings cannot take root without the reality of endings. This is the paradox of the moment: to begin, we must first allow something to end. We are called to release old structures, habits, patterns, and expired versions of ourselves. The promise is needed newness. The challenge is transformation itself.
Think of a caterpillar dissolving into an unrecognizable goo before becoming a butterfly. Metamorphosis isn't just about growing wings—it begins with the total breakdown of what once was. This eclipse mirrors that process: while the winds of change can feel exhilarating, true transformation demands dissolution. And dissolution is hard. Its difficulty is measured not only by how much we resist the call for change and the necessity of letting go, but also by how much of reality—both the uncomfortable truths and the undeniable shifts—we are willing to face.
Neptune Enters Aries: The Battle Over the Real
Just one day after this eclipse, Neptune moves into Aries for the first time since 1861. In a previous blog, I wrote about this pivotal moment:
"The last time Neptune entered Aries, the first shots of the American Civil War were fired at Fort Sumter. Does this foreshadow a literal war? Hopefully not. But the battlefield has changed—today, the fight plays out in online debates, ideological clashes, and societal upheaval. It's keyboards, not bayonets, causing the violence. Yet families are still being fractured, communities divided, and entire nations shifting allegiances. We are in the midst of a cold civil war, one waged through the weaponization of disinformation, intentional propaganda, and the struggle to control perception and truth. In the words of Roger Ailes, founder of Fox News, 'If you can control the information, you can control the people.'"
As Neptune moves into Aries, the line between fact and fiction becomes more urgent than ever. This shift isn't just about brute force—it marks the simultaneous dissolution of illusion and the emergence of what is. What we define as reality is no longer a philosophical question—it's becoming a defining force in how we navigate the world. It shapes the future.
I suspect this dance—the real trying to break through the illusion that’s been carefully crafted, fed to us through disinformation and distortion—will only intensify as the year unfolds. The collective discomfort, the slow unveiling of truth, and the growing challenge of separating what is from what we’ve been led to believe will push us toward a necessary reckoning.
We are entering an era where knowing how to know is just as vital as knowledge itself. Information is no longer neutral—it is wielded as a weapon, shaped to serve agendas, crafted to provoke emotion more than to reveal truth. The ability to critically discern what is real—to see past the spin, to question narratives, to recognize manipulation when it appears—is no longer optional. It's an essential survival skill. Even the Sabian symbol for this eclipse speaks to this profound shift:

This moment invites us to reconsider what we think we know—to reexamine the symbols, narratives, and so-called truths we've inherited, and ask whether their meanings still resonate or merely echo old conditioning. It's not enough to repeat the language of transformation or justice or truth; we must ask whether our actions align with the deeper essence of those ideals. Some of our most cherished symbols may no longer reflect lived wisdom, but instead reveal a gap between what we claim and what we embody. The invitation now is to breathe new life into these forms—not through nostalgia, but through honest engagement with what they demand of us now.
Because the reality is that many have been intentionally misled. And part of this lesson is recognizing how perception itself can be manipulated. Propaganda doesn’t just distort facts—it reframes reality. It hijacks both intellect and intuition, flooding the psyche with narratives designed to bypass discernment. Often, it’s not outright lies we’re contending with, but subtle redirections—emotional triggers, half-truths, and curated attention designed to distort the lens through which we perceive the world. Seeing clearly, then, isn’t just a matter of personal insight—it’s a collective process of recalibrating our inner compass, peeling back the filters that have shaped our understanding, and learning to discern what’s real from what’s been cleverly staged.
If you want to understand what’s true, don’t just listen to the words—look at what’s actually happening. Observe. Question. Discern. The truth is there, but only if we’re willing to truly see it.
We’re not just decoding the world—we’re reclaiming our capacity to perceive it clearly. In an age of noise, distraction, and spectacle, clarity itself becomes a revolutionary act.
