Libra Full Moon 4/12/25

We're standing at a threshold.

This Libra Full Moon hits differently.

Not just because it's Libra.

Not just because we're fresh off the eclipses.

But because something in the air feels different—like a bell that's just been struck, the sound still echoing through everything. Venus stations direct the same day. Mercury already went direct on the 7th. The energy is shifting. Fast. But also… deep.

Like sound waves pulsing outward—resonating, expanding.

We're moving—and something's moving through us, too. We're in the gap. The sacred in-between. That strange, potent place between endings and beginnings. Where everything feels undone and not-yet-made.

It can be uncomfortable. Like wearing clothes that don't quite fit.

But it's also electric with potential. This is the space where we get to choose what comes next.

But first, we have to see clearly. To sit in the stillness. To listen. To let the echoes settle.

That's one of the big lessons of this lunation: truth vs. illusion. Words and actions that don't align will echo louder now. Misalignment won't hide—it'll stand out like a wrong note in a quiet room, if we're brave enough to hear it. People will show you who they truly are. And maybe… you'll see parts of yourself more clearly, too. It's all information. Pieces of a larger pattern being revealed. Because to solve any problem, we first have to see it clearly.

Libra, ruled by Venus, seeks justice. Seeks balance. But don’t be misled—Libra isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s not afraid to call out what looks good but feels hollow, or words that fall flat without action behind them. Libra craves beauty rooted in truth. Harmony born from integrity. And fairness forged through clarity, courage, and accountability.

With the Sun in Aries opposing the Moon in Libra, we’re being asked to hold the tension—between truth and illusion, self and other, action and reflection. But this isn’t just about observing both sides—it’s about choosing wisely. Aries ignites our instinct to act; Libra reminds us to act with conscience. Together, they urge us to align with what’s real, what’s just, what has integrity. Because balance isn’t passive—it’s intentional. Justice requires discernment. And this lunation calls us to stand firmly on the side of truth, even when it's uncomfortable.

Eris and Chiron stand with the Sun. There's a call to heal through fire. To speak up. To let anger be a guide. Not explosive rage—but sacred anger. The kind that brings clarity. The kind that shows us what matters. That demands justice. Equality. Healing. This is the medicine of sacred disruption. Of necessary friction. Of good trouble—the kind that reshapes worlds.

And then there's that T-square with Mars in Cancer. Volatile. Emotional. It can explode into brute force or curl into defensiveness—if we're not mindful. But the "empty leg" of the T-square lands in Capricorn.

The reminder?

Claim your maturity. Your emotional leadership. Your grounded wisdom. We're not here to get caught in the denseness of drama. We're here to rise—in integrity. Because Libra always asks the same question: What's fair? What's true?

And this time, we're invited to pause—really pause—before we act.

To check: who's running the show inside?

Is it the wounded child?

The rebel?

The peacemaker?

The part that wants to be right… or the part that wants to be real?

The Sabian symbol for this Full Moon echoes these themes: "A third wing on the left side of a butterfly." It's strange and magical and full of meaning. Butterflies always speak to transformation, ye, but this one? It's about evolutionary leaps. Resourcefulness. Mutation. The unexpected newness that comes from adapting in wild, beautiful ways. It's about breaking symmetry to find flight. It's weird. It's brilliant. It's innovation that couldn't have happened any other way.

We're not going back to what was. We can't. And we don't need to. Because something entirely new is being born—not just out there, but within us. A new way of seeing. A new kind of strength. A different solution to an old problem. In the words of James Burgess, "Yet rarely - perhaps once or twice in a decade - we may go through sudden dimensional shifts when a veil is torn from our eyes, and we move up the spiritual mountain path in leaps and bounds. Life is never the same after one, and we never lose the expanded awareness."

This kind of shift doesn't happen often. When a veil lifts—and we see with new eyes. And after that moment?

Life is never the same.

We can't unsee what we've seen.

So we pause. We breathe. We observe.

This is the gift of air signs like Libra—to take that breath before reacting.

To ask the deeper questions.

To respond with clarity.

With intention.

We're not here to stay quiet and play nice. We're here to make good trouble.

To fight the good fight—with grace and fire.

Let this Full Moon show you the truth.

Let it guide you to what needs to be protected, honored, released, or claimed.

Let it reveal the new wings you didn't know you were growing.

“Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble.”
— John Lewis
